I performed Assam's and Eastern India’s first remote telerobotic surgery — operating from Gurgaon, nearly 2000 km away, while my patients were in Swagat OT, Guwahati, with Prof. Swagata by my side.

30 years ago, I had envisioned a future where a surgeon could operate remotely, wearing normal attire, and guiding robotic arms. Today, that vision has become reality.
This milestone was made possible by the Made-in-India SSI Mantra Robotic System, developed under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sudhir Srivastava and Mr. Vishwa Srivastava.
