A proud moment for Assam and for me personally!

Honoured to share that the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has launched its first-ever Robotic Surgery Observership, named the Professor Subhash Khanna Travelling Observership in Robotic Surgery.

For the first time, an overseas surgeon will come to Assam on the direct recommendation of RCSEd, with any of its 34,000+ members worldwide eligible to apply.

It’s my privilege to host this fellowship at Swagat Super Speciality Hospital & Surgical Institute, offering a 4-week immersive experience in robotic surgery with up to £2,000 funding.

This is not just a fellowship — it’s a milestone in putting Assam on the global surgical education map.
